| Lowville Village Band Summer Concert Series Continues Wednesday at Veterans Memorial Park July 20, 2019 05:30 p.m. |
The Historic Lowille Village Band Summer Concert Series Continues with medleys from "The Wizard of OZ" and "The Music Man"
will continue with another 7 PM concert in beautiful Lowville Veterans Memorial Park. Besides the concert, the playground will be open for children, there is lots of room for kids to play catch and Frisbee, and a concession stand will feature hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, and assorted chips and drinks. This week will be the final Wednesday night concert. The remaining two concerts will take place on Tuesday, July 30 and August 6 in conjunction with the antique car show. This Wednesdays concert will feature 45 minutes to an hour of interesting and popular band selections. Included in the concert will be "God Bless America", a trumpet trio called "Bright Eyes" , and interesting piece called "Abandoned Treasure Hunt". Also featured will be a medley from the movies and musicals "The Music Man" and "The Wizard of Oz" we hope to see you take a break from the summer rush and enjoy an old fashioned park concert. |
