After teams participated in activities all week long, the 2nd Annual

Lewis County Community Cup games culminated on Saturday at the Lewis

County Fairgrounds where the championship was decided.

Even with three additional teams participating this year, bringing the total number

of teams to eight, the result was the same, Team South Lewis once again

finished in first place to keep possession of the trophy.

Throughout the week teams participated and earned points in events including

bowling, badminton, volleyball, dodgeball, a run/walk

participation event, relay

race, tug-of-war, home run derby, cornhole, golf

chipping, free throw competition

and trivia competition.

"It's a great team building event for any business or organization in the county,"

said Anna Platz, a member of the Lewis County

Wellness Committee, which

organizes the event.
