Three South Lewis Runners Headed to State Championships

    Three members of the South Lewis Girls Outdoor Track Team have made it to
    the NYS Championships, taking place in MIddletown, NY on June 7th and 8th.

    Sophomore Hannah Ielfield will be running in the 3000m race on Friday
    afternoon, after qualifying Friday with a time of 10:02.72. Hannah will also be
    running in the 1500m race on Saturday, qualifying with a time of 4:40.93.

    Freshman Lexi Bernard will be running in the 3000m race on Friday afternoon,
    qualifying with a time of 10:13.67.

    Senior Brooke Everson will be in the Pentathlon on both Friday and Saturday,
    after qualifying with a score of 2649.
