NYS Department of Labor Releases May Unemployment Data

    Albany, NY- The New York State Department of Labor released May
    unemployment data this afternoon. Lewis County had a rate of  4.5 percent,
    down both from last May's rate of 4.7 percent and April's rate of 5.8 percent. The
    state's seasonably adjusted rate for May was 4 percent. Statewide data is
    included below.
