Four Lewis County outdoor track runners earned their way to

Hannah Ielfield

, from South Lewis, ran in the

finishing 7th overall in the nation with a time of 6:58.94. Taylor Ewert, from

Beaver Creek, OH, finished first, posting a time of 6:33.61.

Colton Kempney

, from Beaver River, placed 23rd in the nation in the

with a time of 6:14.93. The time set a new NYS freshman

record for the 2,000 M Steeplechase, according to coach Danielle Grunert.

Parker Stokes, from Maine-Endwell, NY, placed first in the event with a time of

5:53.19.
