'SSWAG Bags' to All Seniors in Each Lewis County School District

    Lewis County, NY- The UP! Coalition of Lewis County is distributing SSWAG
    (Sweet Stuff With A Goal) Bags to all of the 305 seniors in the five Lewis County
    school districts.

    The SSWAG Bags include items from local agencies and businesses as an
    appreciation gift to all area seniors. The intent is to remind them that they are
    loved and cared for by the community around them and to encourage them to
    make healthy decisions during this prom and graduation season, according to
    UP! Coalition Coordinator Cassie Robbins-Forbus.

    The bags have been distributed to seniors in the Beaver River, Copenhagen,
    and South Lewis districts, with Harrisville and Lowville scheduled for future dates.

    We met the UP! Coalition at South Lewis on Thursday, as the school celebrated
    spirit day, where the bags were distributed to the seniors there. You can see our
    video below, along with a letter to the seniors included in the bags noting the
    community sponsors of the project.
