    Press Release:

Beaver Camp Seeks Donations for 47th Annual Benefit Auction

Lowville, NY — For 50 years, the Adirondack Mennonite Camping Association
has provided people of all ages the opportunity to enjoy Beaver Camp, its
summer camp and year-round retreat center located in the Adirondacks.

Beaver Camp is preparing for its 47th annual Auction on June 7 and 8 at the
Lewis County Fairgrounds. This is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the
year, providing critical support for the Campership Program along with other
aspects of maintaining a safe, innovative, and affordable camp experience.

“The Beaver Camp Auction kicks off the summer season with hundreds of
donated items for sale, lots of delicious food booths, and plenty of opportunities
to catch up with old friends,” says Mike Judd, the camp’s executive director.

Colorful quilts handmade by local sewing circles have been essential to the
Auction’s success, along with handcrafted furniture, antiques, unique toys for
kids, and other one-of-a-kind items donated by members of the community. The
event’s organizers are now accepting donations, including wooden crafts,
themed gift baskets, tools, gift certificates, and more. Donors are encouraged to
contact the Beaver Camp office now to schedule pickup and be included in
promotional materials. This is always a fun day for families and people
throughout the North Country, with something for everyone!

For more information about donating to or underwriting the Beaver Camp
Auction, please contact Mike Judd at (315) 376-2640 or mike@beavercamp.org,
