Gauging Community Interest in Potential Croghan Branch

    Croghan, NY- Late last month residents in the village of Croghan learned that
    KeyBank, the only physical bank location in town, would be closing the branch
    on May 24, as first reported by linkinglewiscounty.com.

    Residents in the Croghan area have now started receiving a letter from Carthage
    Savings and Loan Association, asking them to complete a feasibility survey to
    gauge the community's interest in the bank potentially opening a location there.

    The survey can be completed online here.

    The bank hopes to complete the survey by the end of March and make a
    decision at some point after that.
