Volunteer Transportation Center to host 20th Annual North Country Chili Cook-Off
LOCATION: Dulles State Office Building, 317 Washington St., Watertown DATE: Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019 TIME: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. INFO: Hosted by the Jefferson County American Legion Auxiliary. More than 30 chefs will compete for prizes. The event is successful because of local sponsors, including Underwriting Sponsors: Watertown Savings Bank, Stewart’ s Shops, Fidelis Care, Purcell Construction Corp., United Food Service Operators, Tunes 92.5FM, WWNYTV7/WNYF28/MeTV, and the Watertown Daily Times. Proceeds will help fund medical transportation for local veterans and their families through the Volunteer Transportation Center, Inc. (www. volunteertransportationcenter.org). For more information, call the Volunteer Transportation Center at (315) 788-0422. COST: Admission is $6 for adults, children 12 years and under $2 and a family pass is available for $15. This event is supported by Operation Yellow Ribbon, therefore military ID holders will receive a discount. |
