Teen Pleads Guilty to 6 Felony Counts Stemming From June Burglary and Vandalism Spree in Harrisville 12/07/18 08:15pm By: Nick Altmire |
this morning, with the Honorable Daniel R. King presiding, accepting a plea deal for his admitted involvement in a burglary and vandalism spree in Harrisville this summer. The male youth, whose identity is withheld from the record due to his eligibility for youthful offender status, entered guilty pleas to the following 6 felony counts:

The youth was one of three arrested back in August, after an investigation into a string of burglaries and vandalism in Harrisville that occurred in June. The other two still have proceedings continuing in court. As part of the plea agreement, the youth is expected to be placed on interim conditions of probation for a year when he returns to court on January 25th. If successful after one year, he will then serve an additional four years of probation and perform 100 hours of community service. If unsuccessful, he will be sentenced to serve 1 1/3 years in State prison. He will also be required to pay between $6,000 and $6,500 in restitution, a portion of which could be joint and several with the other two defendants pending the outcome of their cases. |
