Lewis County Grand Jury Indicts Carthage Man
on Four Counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against Child

    Lowville, NY- A grand jury handed up a five count indictment against a
    Carthage man this morning in Lewis County Court, with the Honorable Daniel
    R. King presiding.

    Terick R. Goodwin, 45, was indicted on four counts of Predatory Sexual
    Assault Against a Child, class B felonies, and one count of Endangering the
    Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.

    Mr. Goodwin is accused of engaging in sexual contact with a female under the
    age of thirteen on a least four separate occasions between August 29 and
    September 11, in the Town of Denmark.

    He was arrested by the New York State Police in September (report below).

    Mr. Goodwin entered not guilty pleas during his arraignment in court this
    morning and was remanded back to county jail without bail. He is next
    scheduled to appear in court on January 25th.
