Greig Man Indicted and Arraigned on Meth-Manufacturing Charge

    Lowville, NY-  A 53-year-old Greig man was arraigned on a meth-making
    charge this afternoon, after a sealed grand jury indictment on Friday led to a
    warrant being issued for his arrest.

    Raymond Goethals was arrested this afternoon and arraigned in Lewis County
    Court on a charge of third-degree Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine,
    a class D felony.

    A not guilty plea was entered and Mr. Goethals was remanded to the Lewis
    County Jail, with bail set at $500 cash or $1,500 bond. His next court
    appearance is scheduled for February 1.

    Mr. Goethals is accused of possessing materials used in the manufacturing of
    methamphetamine, on or about and between October 23, 2017 and October
    24, 2017 in Town of Greig.
