NYS Department of Labor Releases October Unemployment Data

    Albany, NY- The New York State Department of Labor  released
    unemployment data for the month of October this afternoon. Lewis County had
    an unemployment rate of 3.7%, down both from the 3.9% rate in September
    and the 5.3% rate posted last October. The New York State rate for last month
    was 3.6%, seasonably adjusted to 4.1%.
