    Lowville, NY- The following plea and sentencing activity took place this
    morning in Lewis County Court, with the Honorable Daniel R. King presiding:

    Brian A. Deamer, 34, of Harrisville, pleaded GUILTY to one count each of:

  • Third-degree Unlawful Manufacture of Methamhetamine, a class D felony

  • Seventh-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class A
    misdemeanor

  • Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor

    Mr. Deamer was then sentenced to serve one year in Lewis County Jail, in
    addition to paying $50 in court fees. He admitted to stealing a flash drive from
    the Walmart store in the Town of Lowville on September 26, 2017 and
    possessing methamphetamine and materials used in the manufacture of
    methamphetamine when located in his vehicle in the parking lot of the store. He
    was ordered to pay $58.22 in restitution and is banned from all Walmart stores
    for a period of five years.

    Dajoun M. Marcellus, 22, of Glenfield, pleaded GUILTY to three felony counts
    in three separate incidents, with sentencing scheduled for December 21. Guilty
    pleas were entered for one count each of:

  • Third-degree Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine, a class D felony
    Mr. Marcellus admitted to possessing materials used in the manufacture
    of methamphetamine on May 17, 2018 in the Town of Croghan.

  • Second-degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, a D felony
    Mr. Marcellus admitted to cashing a forged check, in the amount of $100,
    at the New Bremen General Store on February 16, 2018.

  • Second-degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, a D felony
    Mr. Marcellus admitted to cashing a forged check, in the amount of $100,
    at the New Bremen General Store on February 26, 2018.

    Robert R. Newell, 52, of Glenfield, was sentenced to serve a five year
    probation term, after Judge King deemed his interim conditions of probation
    term unsuccessful. He was placed on interim conditions of probation for a year
    on September 22, 2017, after pleading guilty to a charge of fifth-degree
    Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class "D" felony, on July 14,
    2017. If successful, the felony charge would have been reduced to a
    misdemeanor, instead the felony charge remains. He was additionally ordered
    to pay $375 in court fees and $44 in restitution. Mr. Newell was accused of
    possessing cocaine with the intent to sell on July 14, 2016 in the Town of Greig.

    Kimberly R. Pflender, of Boonville, pleaded GUILTY to fourth-degree
    Attempted Criminal Mischief, a class B misdemeanor. She was then placed on
    a conditional discharge for one year and ordered to pay $250 in court fees.

    Tracy L. Wormwood, 50, of Castorland, pleaded GUILTY to a charge of fifth-
    degree Welfare Fraud, a class A misdemeanor. Sentencing was scheduled for
    February 15, 2019.
