| Town of Croghan Man Pleads Guilty to Two Felony Drug Counts in Lewis County Court 09/14/18 11:00am By: Nick Altmire |
charges this morning in Lewis County Court, with the Honorable Daniel R. King presiding. Billy J. Mono, 39, of the Texas Road, pleaded GUILTY to charges of second- degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class A felony, and third-degree Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine, a class "D" felony. Sentencing in the case was set for October 26. Based on the plea agreement, he is expected to receive 4 years in State prison, followed by 4 years of post- release parole. The case was previously set for a trial, scheduled to begin October 15. Mr. Mono was accused of possessing meth and meth-making materials at his Texas Road residence, in the Town of Croghan, on November 21, 2017. |
