Lowville, NY- The Neenah Paper mill, on Bostwick Street, opened their facility
to the community today, offering tours, lunch and children's activities during an
    open house event.

Neenah, based out of Alpharetta, Georgia, is a leading manufacturer and
marketer of fine paper and technical products, sold in over 70 countries. The
company has multiple manufacturing and converting facilities in the United
States, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The Lowville location is a finishing
    and converting facility.

Neenah acquired the facility, along with five others in the United States, from
    FiberMark in July of 2015.

Manager of the Lowville mill, Tracey Yarina, said the facility employs around 125
    people.

Community members, local government officials, family members of employees
and others were invited to the facility today for an open house. Lunch was then
provided, with grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, salt potatoes, baked beans,
chips and cookies. An ice cream truck was on hand, with children under 12
receiving a free ice cream. The company provided a ream of their Astrobrights
printer paper to those taking the tour.

"We wanted to have a little thank you to our employees and let them show their
family what they do here," Ms. Yarina said.

It started to grow from there, she continued, and they decided to expand the
event to include anyone from the public interested in learning more about the mill.

We were asked not to film inside the facility during the tour, but were encouraged
to capture some footage before the tour started of the company and mill history
on display. You can see that video below, along with a short video of our
    interview with Ms. Yarina.
