    Lowville, NY- Lake Effect Tech will be holding their 4th Annual Backpack Drive
    Distribution on Saturday, August 25th, starting at 10 AM at the Lowville VFW,
    7744 W. State St., in Lowville. The distribution will continue until all backpacks
    have been handed out, or 2 PM, whichever comes first. This year 300 new
    backpacks are available to distribute, along with some supplies.

    "We are definitely building on our success  of past years, to grow to 300
    backpacks this year," Lake Effect Tech Owner/Operator Josh Fitzgerald said.
    "It proves that a good thing gains attention, by the outreach from other
    companies and services that have joined the cause.  I consider all of
    them as a co-sponsor, regardless of how little of how much they donate," he
    added.

    Come out on August 25th, for random give-aways throughout the event and a
    hamburger/hotdog lunch from 12-1 PM.. The event is for all school-aged children
    in need of a new backpack for the upcoming school year. The only requirement
    is that THE CHILD MUST BE PRESENT to receive a bag. It's that simple, just
    stop in with your child and receive a backpack with some supplies!

    This is the fourth year of the backpack drive, with 50 bags handed out in 2015,
    144 bags handed out in 2016, and 250 backpacks distributed last year! Thank
    you to the additional co-sponsors for helping to make the continued expansion
    of the program possible!
