August 15 Sherry Anne in Concert: Mission Fundraiser
Street Road, Carthage, NY, will host inspirational gospel singer and national recording artist Sherry Anne in concert on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 7 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm and light refreshments will be served. The public is welcome at this concert offered as a fundraiser to support a women's mission trip to the Galilean Home, a nonprofit organization serving disabled individuals. newborns of incarcerated mothers, and local community children in Lebanon, KY. A love offering will be invited to support the Galilean Home. Women from the Calvary Assembly of God will be cleaning, painting, organizing, landscaping, sewing, and holding babies at the Galilean Home on a 5-day trip later this summer. Although born with a bilateral hearing and speech impairment, Sherry Anne sings with an elegant voice and share her story of being labeled a problem child until a school nurse discovered she was a child with a hearing problem. Sherry Anne has shared the stage with Bill Gaither and the Gaither Vocal Band, won a Grand Prize in the Singing News Songwriter Search, and filmed a Sherry Anne Live! concert DVD.
