UP! Coalition of Lewis County Holding Logo Contest With $500 Prize

    Lowville, NY- The United Prevention (UP!) Coalition of Lewis County, formally
    know as the YEAH! Coalition, is seeking a new logo as part of their rebranding
    efforts.
    The coalition has a new coordinator, Cassie Forbus, hired through federal grant
    money awarded after receiving the Drug Free Community designation.

    The vision of the coalition is promoting a community "that fosters its youth to
    choose a healthy lifestyle." The mission of the coalition is to reduce alcohol,
    tobacco, and other drugs in Lewis County youth by collaborating with the
    community to empower residents to make educated decisions about living a
    healthy lifestyle.

    Lewis County residents are invited to incorporate the name, vision and mission of
    the coalition into a logo for the coalition to use. Entires are due by September 1,
    with the winner receiving a $500 contract with the coalition.

    Entries can be submitted through the coalition's Facebook page, emailed to
    cforbus@mvpsny.org, or dropped off at Mountain View Prevention Services,
    7714 Number Three Road, Lowville, NY.

    The coalition is also seeking new members. Meetings are held the third
    Thursday of each month, starting at noon, at the Mountain View office.
