NYSP: Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Town of Denmark

    Town of Denmark, NY- Emergency crews were dispatched at 9:25 last night to
    a reported motorcycle crash on the Number Three Road, near the Halifax Road
    intersection.

    State Police this morning have identified the victim as Harold R. Rogers, 63, of
    Watertown.

    Initial reports from last evening indicated an unresponsive male located down an
    embankment.

    Copenhagen Fire, Lewis County Search & Rescue, New York State Police and
    Lewis County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. Availability for an air
    medical helicopter was requested and later cancelled. A portion of the Number
    Three Road was closed for short period of time.

    No further details have been released at this time. We will provide any updates
    as received from State Police.
