Lewis County Seniors Will Receive Enhanced STAR IVP
Renewal Application by January 1; Application Not Due Until March 1

    Lowville, NY- Lewis County Director of Real Property Candy Akin would like
    Lewis County seniors to know that they will be receiving their applications for the
    Enhanced STAR Income Verification Program by January 1, 2019. The deadline
    to complete the application will be March 1, 2019. The Real Property office will
    start mailing out the applications in November. If you do not receive your renewal
    application by January 1, or if you have any questions, you can contact your
    assessor, the Real Property Office at 315-376-5336, or visit the NYS Taxation
    website at www.tax.ny.gov. Some common questions and answers on the
    program are included below.
