Marks Farm Cited for Serious Violations, Fined

    Lowville, NY- The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety & Health
    Administration (OSHA) has issued citations and fines to Marks Farm, stemming
    from the November 19, 2017 death of employee Ryan Ouellette, killed in an
    industrial accident while working at the farm.

    In a notice dated May 17, Marks Farm, located on Cannan Road in Lowville, was
    notified of the three serious violations that carry proposed fines totaling $24,575.
    The farm has 15 days to respond to the notice or request a hearing.
