    Croghan, NY- Lewis County Economic Development hosted a Business Leaders
    Breakfast at the Croghan Fire Hall on Thursday morning, providing a networking
    opportunity for local businesses and a chance to learn more about some Lewis
    County food producers. The breakfast was sponsored by Tug Hill Artisan
    Roasters, Cedar Hedge Farms, and V.S. Virkler and Son, Inc.

    The morning started with breakfast, featuring food from Cedar Hedge Farm and
    coffee from Tug Hill Artisan Roasters.

    Lewis County Director of Economic Development and IDA Director Eric Virkler
    then provided an update on some IDA projects, including a proposed business
    park, the pending purchase offer on the Climax building and grants and loans the
    IDA can assist businesses with.

    Five food producers that operate in Lewis County were then highlighted, with
    each giving an overview of their operation. Included were:






    Lindsey Pashow, with Harvest NY, then gave a presentation on programs her
    office can assist with.
