Lowville, NY- After months of advocating for a second Assistant District
Attorney, Lewis County District Attorney Leanne Moser today welcomed aboard
her new part-time ADA after receiving approval for the added position at the
March meeting of the Lewis County Board of Legislators.

Cindy Intschert, retired Jefferson County District Attorney, has accepted the
position and started her new role today. Mrs. Intschert retired  at the end of 2015
after a 30 year career with the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office, serving
as the county's District Attorney from 1999 until her retirement.

Mrs. Inschert joins District Attorney Leanne Moser and full-time ADA Mark
Lemieux as prosecutors in the Lewis County Office.

"It is an amazing opportunity for my office and the people of Lewis County to
have someone with her experience," DA Moser said.

Mrs. Intschert said when she heard the position was available she thought it
would be a good fit for her to get involved in the legal world again on a part-time
basis. She said she is looking forward to the opportunity to serve the people of
    Lewis County.

Stay tuned for a full interview with Mrs. Intschert and Ms. Moser a little later this
    week.
