    Lowville, NY- Lawrence Dolhof (R-Lyons Falls) was selected to serve as
    Chairman of the Lewis County Board of Legislators at this evening's
    organizational meeting of the board. Jerry King (R- West Leyden) was selected
    as Vice-Chairman.

    Three newly elected legislators- Randall A. LaChausse (I-Beaver Falls), John
    V. Lehman (R-Indian River), and Ronald J. Burns (R-Copenhagen)- each took
    their first oath of office.

    The board honored District 9 Legislator Roscoe "Rocky" Fawcett, Jr., with the
    reading of a proclamation. Legislator Fawcett passed away the previous
    evening at the age of 81 after an illness.
