Lowville Man Sentenced to Prison Time on Drug Charges

    Lowville, NY- The following activity took place this morning in Lewis County
    Court, with the Honorable Daniel R. King presiding:

    Richard Cobb Jr., 26, Lowville, was sentenced as a second-felony offender to
    serve 6 years in New York State prison followed by 3 years of post release
    parole. Judge King also mandated him to the State Prison System's 90-day
    Willard Drug Rehabilitation program, which allows individuals to serve the
    remainder of their sentence on parole after successful completion, after
    completing 3 years of his sentence. He was additionally ordered to pay $375 in
    court fees and had his driver's license suspended for a period of six months.
    On October 27th, Mr Cobb entered guilty pleas to two counts each of  third-
    degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Possession of a
    Controlled Substance, class "B" felonies and four counts each of fifth-degree
    Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Possession of a
    Controlled Substance, class "D" felonies. Mr. Cobb was accused of selling
    morphine and methamphetamine on January 4 in the Town of Watson and
    January 25 in the Village of Lowville, as well as selling and possessing meth on
    February 1 and March 2.

    Felix M. Fantauzzi,53, Newark, was arraigned and entered a GUILTY plea to
    a charge of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, a class "E"
    felony. He was then sentenced to serve 90 days in Lewis County Jail and was
    ordered to pay $375 in court fees. Mr. Fantauzzi was accused of driving on
    State Route 3 in the Town of Diana on October 21, 2017 knowing his license
    had been revoked since 1994.

    Jill Hirschy, 54, of Lowville, was sentenced to serve a 3 year probation term
    on a charge of third-degree assault, a class "A" misdemeanor, to which she
    entered a guilty plea on September 29th. She was additionally ordered to pay
    $250 in court fees and an order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim
    fo a period of 5 years. Ms. Hirschy was accused of causing injury to an
    individual by striking him in the arm with a steak knife on June 18th at her home
    in the Village of Lowville.

    Zachory K. Manor,31, Lowville was arraigned and entered a GUILTY plea to a
    charge of Menacing a Police Officer, a class "D" felony. He was then placed on
    Interim Conditions of Probation, with final sentencing set for December 07,
    2018. Mr. Manor was accused of holding a razor blade and making a swiping
    motion towards an officer of the Lowville Village Police on August 03, 2017 in
    the Village of Lowville.

    Tina M. Stackiewicz, 47, of Constableville, was arraigned and entered a
    GUILTY plea to a charge of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, a class "E"
    felony. Sentencing in the case was set for February 09, 2018. Ms. Stackiewicz
    was accused of operating a vehicle on the Fish Creek Road in the Town of
    Lewis on June 01, 2017, while under the influence of fentanyl and
    hydromorphone.
