    Release from Lewis County VFW Post 6912:

    Lowville, NY- The Veterans Day observance will be held on Saturday,
    November 11, 2017 starting at 10:30 AM at the American Legion. A short
    parade will take place starting there and preceding to the Post Office and on to
    the Veterans Memorial Park. There will be a short service honoring our
    Veterans both past and present. After that all of the Veterans Posts in Lowville
    will be open. The VFW will have a Ham and Scalloped Potato Dinner. There
    will also be other activates there. The American Legion will have their usual
    luncheon and their Military Museum will be open. The Marine Corps League
    will also be open and they are offering a luncheon as well.
