    Release from Lowville Village Band:

    The historic Lowville Village Band will present their annual Christmas Concert
    on Sunday, December 10th, at 2pm, at Lowville Academy and Central School
    District.

    This concert will feature some of the finest selections in band literature
    including Leroy Anderson's, A Christmas Festival which features many of the
    Christmas carols we love. Other Christmas favorites that will be performed will
    be I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas, Ill Be Home for Christmas, A
    Christmas Declaration, and Old English Carol which is set around What Child
    is This?.

    A new musical selection for the band is Alan Steins Snow Day Celebration
    which produces the feeling of happiness every child and adult feel during a
    snow day. Angels Mix is another rocking musical number that includes
    selections from Angels We Have Heard on High, Hark! The Herald Angels
    Sing, and quotes from Angels from the Realms of Glory. This song features our
    percussion section and will surely have you moving and grooving in your seat.

    The concert is free and open to the public!
