    Lewis County, NY- The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a
    Wind Advisory for Lewis County, beginning at 8 AM Monday and running
    through 8 PM Monday. A Flash Flood Watch has also been issued, beginning
    at 4 PM this afternoon and running through Monday morning.

    MONDAY...

    * LOCATIONS...Lewis county. Strongest winds across higher
     terrain.

    * TIMING...From early Monday morning through early Monday
     evening.

    * WINDS...West 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

    * IMPACTS...Gusty winds may result in a few downed tree limbs
     and isolated power outages.

    ...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM EDT THIS
    AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...

    The Flash Flood Watch continues for

    * A portion of central New York...including the following
     counties...Jefferson...Lewis...Northern Cayuga and Oswego.

    * From 4 PM EDT this afternoon through Monday morning.

    * Numerous rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall are expected
     across the eastern Lake Ontario region today through early
     Monday. Rainfall totals of 3 to 5 inches are possible over a 48
     hour period.

    * Excessive runoff from the heavy rainfall may result in
     significant flooding of low lying areas and also small streams
     and creeks. Drainage inlets clogged by leaves may increase the
     risk of street flooding. Flooding of larger rivers such as the
     Black River, Moose River, and Salmon River is also possible.
