meeting this afternoon, approved an application from Tops Markets, LLC to construct a fuel canopy, kiosk and underground storage tank system within the Tops Markets parking lot located at 7395 Turin road in Lowville. A proposed 2,520 square foot fuel canopy with three pump dispensers would be located on the northern end of the lot, between the Community Bank and Tops Market store. Gasoline and diesel fuel would be available. A NYS DOT review of the plan stated that the project would not impact vehicular traffic. The board's approval of the project comes with the condition of compliance with all Local, State and Federal regulatory requirements for this type of facility and products stored. Tops Markets anticipates construction would begin in the Spring of 2018. Additionally, the board approved a pair of applications from Atlantic Wind, LLC, to construct a 196.85' tall guyed meteorological tower in both the Town of Harrisburg and the Town of Pinckney. An application from Kim Gracey was also approved, a special use permit to open a general store and self-serve coffee shop at the former Foot's Store location at 4815 West Martinsburg Road, at the intersection of West Road in West Martinsburg. |
