    Lowville, NY- The Lewis County Board of Legislators will hold a public
    hearing this evening on establishing a thirty cent ($0.30) surcharge each month
    on all wireless communication devices in the county. The collected money
    would be used to help finance the cost of the county's emergency 911 services.

    Full text of the public hearing notice, as well as the proposed local law, are
    included below. The public hearing will take place during the regular monthly
    meeting of the Board of Legislators, beginning at 5 PM in the second-floor
    legislative chambers at the court house in Lowville.
