| County Planning Board Approves Two Projects, Including Johnson Lumber Expansion 06/20/17 02:00pm |

at its regular monthly meeting on Thursday. The construction of a proposed 100'-by-200' building at Johnson Lumber Company, on State Route 26 in the Town of Denmark, was given approval- with conditions, by a vote of 5-0. Final approval will be required from the Town of Denmark Planning Board. The County Planning Board review is included at the end of the article. The Board also gave approval, with conditions, for a planned 60' tall training tower to be constructed in the rear of a property at 8691 State Route 812 in the Town of New Bremen. NRG Group Inc. currently uses the existing storage building on the property as a warehouse and will use the proposed tower for private training of individuals in tower climbing. The New Bremen Town Council will need to give final approval to the project. The County Planning Board review is included at the end of the article. Additionally, the Board reviewed and approved a Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Leyden and a Zoning Text Amendment change for the Town of Greig. Both reviews are included below. |
