    Lowville, NY- The Lowville Academy softball team has now reached the
    semifinal round of the Section III Class "B" tournament, after a 10-5 victory over
    No. 5 APW last evening. No. 4 Lowville is set to take on No. 1 Solvay at noon
    today, with the winner moving on to the sectional championship game on
    Tuesday.

    Also in Section III Class "B" softball action, No. 3 Adirondack defeated No. 6
    South Jefferson by a score of 6-2. Adirondack will take on No. 2 Oneida this
    afternoon in the other semifinal game, with the winner advancing to the
    sectional championship on Tuesday.
