County Manager Resigns, Plans to Stay on Until Replacement Found

    Lowville, NY- Lewis County Manager Liz Swearingin privately submitted her
    resignation to the Board of Legislators chairman on Tuesday evening.

    Mrs. Swearingin said this morning that she will be relocating to Cincinnati, OH,
    due to her husband's employment. She plans to stay in her position until a
    replacement can be found. Mrs. Swearingin has held the County Manager post
    for the past three years.

    We spoke with a number of legislators this morning who stated they would be
    starting the search for a replacement soon.
