    Lewis County, NY- Local schools learned their positions in the upcoming
    Section III Basketball Tournament for both boys and girls programs today. The
    tournament officially kicks off tomorrow, with championships taking place on
    March 5th.

    Here are opening matchups for Lewis County schools that earned a spot in the
    tourney:

    BOYS
    Class "B": #14 Lowville at #3 Vernon-Verona-Sherrill  2/17 at 7 PM

    Class "C": #9 Westmoreland at #8 South Lewis   2/17 at 6:30 PM

    Class "D": #14 Copenhagen at #3 Sackets Harbor   2/17 at 7 PM

    GIRLS
    Class "B": #13 Lowville at #4 South Jefferson  2/17 at 6 PM

    Class "B": #17 Adirondack at #16 Marcellus  2/16 at 6 PM

    Class "C": #9 Beaver River at #8 Frankfort-Schuyler  2/17 at 6 PM

    Class "D": #3 Copenhagen has an opening round bye and will face the
    winner of the #11Lafargeville/#6Brookfield game on 2/21 at 6 PM.
